Life in the Green House: A fun weekend...

So this weekend was one of the best I've had in a while...

My mom and I kept Kaleb until about lunch Friday and then me, my mom, and Ben headed up to the lake for the weekend. Cook and Erin came up Friday night to pick up the seadoo ramps. We had a great time catching up with them and playing with Jackson. He is getting so big! It was so fun to eat dinner and relax with them.

Justin and Lindsey came this weekend to play on the lake and get away for a weekend. They got to the lake about 10 or so. We just sat around and talked Friday night until it was time to hit the sack. Soon after we woke up Saturday morning, Jake, Kate, and Kaleb arrived. We didn't waste too much time before we were on the lake for the day!

We went for a short boat ride and realized that we needed gas. So we turned around and headed to the marina to get some when we passed a boat that looked like it was literally sinking. So we stopped to try and help them. They apparently hit a wave wrong and took on water way to quick. Their motor wouldn't start so we ended up towing them back to the marina. It definitely made for an interesting story. We made it safely back to the marina with them and we didn't run out of gas on the way, which I was worried about!

So after we gassed up we went back to the house for a some lunch. As we were chilling on the dock, we realized there were wasps everywhere!! We ended up having a war with them. Ben and Justin ended up getting stung so we hopped on the boat and left. We ended up anchoring out for a while. It was fun!

Sunday we got up and did it all again. While we were at the marina getting gas in the seadoo and some ice, it started raining. We debated on going back to the house but decided against it. We ended up hanging out on this this beach area. It was cloudy for most of the day but the sun ended up coming out. Lindsey and I kept saying that it was the perfect place to read all day, even though neither of us actually got our books out to read.

After leaving the beach area, Justin and Lindsey rode the tube.

Then the boys went and jumped off the cliff..

Once we got back to the house, we all got cleaned up and ate some watermelon. We left shortly after eating the watermelon, but not before we could take some cleaned up pictures.
